Shepherd Community center provides hot meals, tutoring, love and hope every day for children on our city's near-east side. Without Shepherd, these little ones are often hungry and alone after school and through the holidays. Shepherd spends $13 per child every day to make this happen.
The Mary E. Ober Foundation wants to split that cost with you. Your donation of $6.50 will be doubled, to cover and entire day of care at Shepherd. We are looking for 1000 people to each donate $6.50 by Christmas, and your donation will be matched by Mary Ober Foundation.
